This article shows where your invoices live, what the VAT line means, and each way to pay.\n\n# Find your invoices\n\nClick **Invoices** in the portal sidebar. The page opens with summary tiles showing how many invoices you have, how many are paid, and the outstanding amount, plus a search box to filter by invoice number or service.\n\nEach row shows the invoice number, a status pill (**Paid**, **Unpaid** or **Overdue**), the service it covers, the created date, the due date and the amount. Click **View Invoice** to open the full document, or **Pay** on an unpaid invoice to go straight to payment.\n\n![The Invoices page with summary tiles and paid and unpaid invoices](/assets/kb/billing/invoices.png)\n\n# Read and download an invoice\n\nAn open invoice shows the issuer details, your own billing details under \"Bill To\", a line-item table with each charge, and the totals. Click **Download** in the header to save a PDF copy, named after the invoice number, for your records or your accountant. **Back to invoices** returns you to the list.\n\nYour \"Bill To\" details come from your account profile, so keep your address and company information current in **Settings**.\n\n# How VAT works\n\nThe totals block breaks the amount down into:\n\n- **Subtotal** — the price of the services before tax.\n- **VAT** — value-added tax at the rate that applies to your billing country, when VAT applies to your account.\n- **Total** — the amount to pay.\n\nIf you are an EU business with a valid VAT number from a different country than ours, the reverse-charge rules apply: the invoice shows **VAT (reverse charge)** at $0.00 with the note \"VAT to be accounted for by the recipient (EU reverse charge)\", and you account for the VAT in your own country instead.\n\n# Pay an invoice\n\nOpen an unpaid invoice, or click **Pay** in the list. The **Pay this invoice** sheet offers two methods: **Card** (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and **Crypto** (BTC, ETH, USDT and more).\n\n![An unpaid invoice with the VAT breakdown and the payment sheet](/assets/kb/billing/invoice-detail.png)\n\nBefore the pay button appears, the sheet asks \"Have a discount coupon?\". Enter your code and click **Apply**, or click **Continue without a coupon**. A valid code shows a green chip with the discount amount and a **Remove** link, and the pay button immediately charges the reduced total. One coupon can be applied per invoice, and only while the invoice is unpaid.\n\nTo pay by card, choose **Card** and click the pay button, which shows the exact amount. A secure dialog opens — enter your card details and click **Pay Now**. On success you will see \"Payment received\", and the invoice is marked paid moments later.\n\nTo pay with cryptocurrency, choose **Crypto** and pick a coin: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC) or Tether (USDT). Click the pay button and you are redirected to our payment processor's hosted checkout to finish securely. The invoice switches to paid once your payment confirms.\n\n\u003e You cannot pay an invoice from your account balance — the balance funds hourly cloud usage. See [Account balance and top-ups](/kb/account-balance-topup).\n\n# Pay by bank transfer\n\nBank transfer is not available directly in the portal — it is arranged through our billing team. Open a ticket from **Tickets** in the portal, mention the invoice number you want to pay, and we will take it from there. Once your transfer arrives, our team records the payment and the invoice is marked paid, with the same effect as any other payment method.\n\n# Renewal invoices\n\nRenewal invoices for your services are created automatically before each billing period ends, and appear under **Invoices** like any other. See [Renewals, saved cards and cancelling](/kb/auto-renewal-cards) for how reminders and automatic card charging work.\n\nIf something on an invoice looks wrong, open a ticket from **Tickets** in the portal and our billing team will help.","status":"published","position":1,"createdAt":"2026-06-29T16:55:30Z","updatedAt":"2026-07-15T11:11:28Z"},"related":[{"id":"e3b6b6fac6582c970ac7c7b1833b13c7","categorySlug":"billing-account","slug":"account-balance-topup","title":"Account balance and top-ups","excerpt":"Add funds to your SprintCDN account balance, set up automatic top-ups from a saved card, and see exactly what your balance pays for.","position":2,"status":"published"},{"id":"8fbc41aca336ff4389e08379d44a58f7","categorySlug":"billing-account","slug":"auto-renewal-cards","title":"Renewals, saved cards and cancelling","excerpt":"Save a card so renewals are paid automatically, know what happens if an invoice goes unpaid, and cancel a service at the end of its billing period.","position":3,"status":"published"},{"id":"943d5e69ef5a702c19c64a675d6dce24","categorySlug":"billing-account","slug":"hourly-billing","title":"How hourly billing works","excerpt":"Understand how hourly Cloud Instances are metered, where every per-hour charge appears, and how to keep your balance funded so instances keep running.","position":4,"status":"published"},{"id":"161f47cd922f1a8ced3fd6324f82bb34","categorySlug":"billing-account","slug":"affiliate-program","title":"Earn with the affiliate program","excerpt":"Join the SprintCDN partner program, share your referral code, track tiered commissions and turn earnings into account credit or a payout.","position":5,"status":"published"}]}
